Résumé Optimizer
Résumés and cover letters in another language
Twelve languages through Write in: the posting’s own by default, or your choice. Headings, dates and downloads follow.
Updated October 16, 2026
JobMatch writes your tailored résumé, a rewrite and its cover letter in twelve languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Swedish, Finnish, Chinese (Simplified), Japanese and Arabic.
Choosing the language
On Optimize, the Write in menu sits under the job description. It starts on Same as the posting: JobMatch reads the posting and writes in its language, so a German posting gets a German résumé. The menu shows the language it detected. If it can't tell, it writes in English; to use another language, pick one from the list.
What changes
- The résumé and its cover letter are written in that language by the same Quick Match or Detailed Match you would use in English, at the same price. Quick Match or Detailed Match
- Section headings, dates, the page footer and the cover-letter wording follow the language.
- Your names, employers, titles, dates and figures stay exactly as your record states them. Nothing is changed into a different fact.
- The document audit reads each language and checks figures in that language's number format.
- The cover letter is written in the résumé's language.
Downloads
PDF and Word files are made in the chosen language. For Polish, Chinese, Japanese and Arabic, and for any text a standard font can't draw (an English résumé that names Łódź, say), the PDF carries its own font so every character prints. Arabic documents read right to left. Downloading your résumé
Good to know
Read the result before you send it, in a language you can check, as you would with any résumé. This is the language of your documents. The language you read the site in is separate: change it with the Language button at the top of any page. Changing the site language
