How the document audit works

A repeatable document-quality diagnostic, not an employer ATS score or interview probability.

Updated September 19, 2026

The document audit is calculated by code, not by an AI's opinion. It is a quality diagnostic, not a prediction of whether an employer will select you.

The five parts and their weights

  • Parseability — 25%. Whether the layout and sections are readable.
  • Evidence integrity — 25%. Whether employers, titles, schools, degrees and certifications trace back to your original résumé.
  • Recruiter impact — 25%. Whether the writing is concrete rather than repetitive or inflated.
  • Structure — 20%. Sections, order and readable length.
  • Term presence — 5%. Whether relevant posting vocabulary appears, without rewarding stuffing.

Each part except keyword match starts at 100 and loses points for each issue found, more for serious ones.

What "passed" means

A score of 80 or more and no critical or high-severity issue. Otherwise you'll see "Improvements suggested", with the issues listed.

What is never counted as a keyword

The hiring company's name, salary figures and requisition numbers, equal-opportunity (EEO) wording, benefits words such as dental or pension, and generic filler. Counting them would reward stuffing and inflate every score.

Evidence map

New full optimisations show the five most important job requirements as complete, partial or missing, with source quotes. This is more inspectable than an AI-generated fit percentage. Older saved results can still show the former original-fit scorecard.
