Terms of Service

Summary
These terms are an agreement between you and RC Inc., which operates JobMatch.AI. You must be 16 or older.
You own your résumés and the documents we generate for you. You are responsible for checking them and for everything you send to employers.
AI output can be wrong. We never guarantee interviews, offers or how any employer or system will read your documents.
Use Auto Apply and Live Interview Assist only where the employer and platform allow them.
Credits are prepaid, have no cash value, and failed paid work is refunded in credits automatically.
Ontario, Canada law applies, without taking away consumer protections where you live.
This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and RC Inc. ("we", "us"), which operates JobMatch.AI at https://jobmatchai.rcinc.app, including its browser extension and desktop app (together, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy and our Credits & Refund Policy, which form part of them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you may bind it, and "you" includes that organisation.
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 16 years old. The Service is not directed at children.
- Give us an email address you control and keep it secure: we sign you in with one-time codes sent to it, or through Google when offered. Anyone who can read your email can sign in as you.
- One person, one account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the extension and desktop devices you connect to it.
- Tell us promptly through our support channels if you think someone else has accessed your account.
3. The Service
JobMatch.AI helps you search for jobs, tailor résumés and cover letters to postings, track applications, prepare and send applications (Auto Apply), practise interviews (Interview Coach) and get suggestions during live interviews (Live Interview Assist).
We improve the Service continually, so features may change, be added or be removed. Some features may be labelled beta or depend on third parties such as job boards, employers' application systems and AI providers; they may be unavailable or behave differently from time to time. We aim to keep the Service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
4. Your content
"Your content" means what you give us — résumés, job descriptions, notes, stories, facts you lock, messages — and the documents and text we generate for you from it.
- You own your content. We claim no ownership of it.
- You give us permission to use it to run the Service for you: to store it, process it, send it to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy to perform the task you asked for, and show it back to you. This permission ends when your content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law or that remain for a limited time in backups.
- You are responsible for your content. Only upload material you have the right to use. Don't upload other people's personal information without their permission.
- We don't use your résumés for advertising, and we don't sell your content.
5. AI-generated output
The Service uses artificial intelligence to draft résumés, cover letters, answers and other text from the material you provide. Our AI Transparency statement explains how.
- Output can contain mistakes. Review every document and suggestion before you use it. You are responsible for what you send to employers and what you say in interviews.
- Truthfulness is yours. The Service is designed not to invent experience, but you must make sure everything you submit about yourself is true.
- Scores are estimates. ATS scores, match scores and interview scores are our assessments, not predictions of any employer's or system's decision.
- No guarantee of outcomes. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, responses from employers, or that any applicant tracking system will read a document in a particular way.
6. Auto Apply and the browser extension
- Acting in your name. When you turn on Auto-submit for a campaign, or press Auto-apply in the extension, you authorise us to submit applications in your name, using your tailored résumé, cover letter and contact details, to employer forms that need no login and no CAPTCHA, at the send time you choose. In Prepare only mode we submit nothing.
- Consents, salary and answers. On that path you also authorise us, on your behalf, to accept the required consents, notices and acknowledgements an application form asks for; to state a salary expectation at the 90th percentile of the posted pay range, or of a market benchmark for the role and location when none is posted, never below a minimum you set in your Application Profile; and to answer screening questions from your Application Profile and the résumé tailored for the job. We never sign your name, enter a password, or invent facts about you. This is the one place you give that authorisation; there is no separate consent per campaign or per form.
- Where it's allowed. You are responsible for using Auto Apply only where the employer and the job platform permit automated applications, and for applying only to roles you genuinely want and are eligible for.
- Protections. Auto Apply stops at logins, CAPTCHAs and questions it cannot answer truthfully, and hands those applications to you. When you clear such a step yourself, it may carry on from there. It will not attempt to bypass any site's protections.
- The extension. The browser extension captures postings you choose, fills application forms you open, attaches tailored files and can open Live Interview Assist in a separate extension window. In Prepare only mode you submit. For an active Auto-submit campaign it may press Next and Submit when the visible form is complete and has no login, CAPTCHA, consent request or unresolved required field. The Live Assist window stays outside a shared tab, but may be visible if you share an entire screen or browser window.
- Your review. Check what campaigns prepare and send, and pause a campaign if it isn't right. We are not responsible for employers' decisions, their systems, or the content of their postings.
7. Live Interview Assist
- Only where permitted. Use Live Interview Assist only where the employer, the interviewer and any assessment rules allow outside assistance. Do not use it in proctored tests or assessments that prohibit it, and do not use it to evade proctoring or detection.
- Other people's voices. Live Interview Assist transcribes what it hears, including other participants. You are responsible for complying with laws that require notice to, or consent from, other participants before a conversation is transcribed.
- Shared screens. If you use screen analysis, share only material you have the right to process and only where outside assistance is allowed. You are responsible for confidential, personal or third-party material visible in the frame.
- Your answers. Suggestions are drawn from your own record, but you decide what to say and are responsible for it.
8. Credits and payments
- Prepaid credits. Some features use credits, at the prices shown in the Service before you use them (currently 1 credit per résumé optimisation and 0.5 credits per cover letter). New accounts receive 0 credits; more can be bought on the Wallet page.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in USD and may be subject to taxes where required.
- Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash (except as our Credits & Refund Policy or the law provides), and do not expire while your account is open.
- Failed work is refunded in credits automatically, as described in the Credits & Refund Policy.
- Price changes apply to actions taken after the change; they don't reduce credits you already hold.
- Promotional credits (such as sign-up and top-up pack bonuses) are for one account per person. Creating extra accounts to collect them is not allowed.
9. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, don't use the Service to fabricate credentials, to break employers' or platforms' rules, to abuse, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, to get around limits or security, or to break the law.
10. Third-party sites and services
The Service links to and works with third-party sites — job boards, employers' career sites and application systems, Stripe, Google. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their content, availability or decisions. Job postings come from third parties and may be inaccurate, out of date or already filled.
11. Our intellectual property
The Service — its software, design, text we write and our trademarks — belongs to RC Inc. or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it under these Terms. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
12. Suspension and termination
- You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account (see our Privacy Policy).
- We may suspend or restrict features, or close an account, if you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if required by law, or to protect the Service, other users or third parties. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
- Unused credits. If we close your account without cause, we will refund your unused purchased credits. If we close it because you breached these Terms, unused credits are forfeited, except where the law says otherwise.
- Sections that by their nature should survive — including 4 (as to our right to keep copies required by law), 5, 11, 13, 14, 15 and 16 — survive termination.
13. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that output will be accurate, complete or suitable for your purpose.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights consumer law gives you, and nothing in these Terms limits them.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities (including jobs or interviews), or lost data;
- our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose and (b) USD $100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law — for example, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
15. Indemnity
If you use the Service for business purposes, you agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content or your breach of these Terms or the law. This section does not apply to consumers where the law does not allow it.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes will be heard by the courts of the Province of Ontario, sitting in Toronto.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your home country or province, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law gives you that right.
Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us — most problems are resolved faster that way.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top, and for material changes we will give you reasonable notice in the Service or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, the updated Terms apply. If you don't agree, stop using the Service and you may ask us to close your account.
18. General
These Terms, with the policies they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a reorganisation or sale of our business, with notice to you. These Terms are written in English.
