Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated

Summary

  • Be truthful: never use JobMatch.AI to fabricate experience or credentials.

  • Use Live Interview Assist only where the employer and interview allow assistance — never to evade proctoring or detection.

  • Use Auto Apply only where the employer and platform allow automated applications. It stops at logins and CAPTCHAs by design.

  • The extension fills forms; you review them and press submit.

  • No scraping, overloading, reselling or gaming the Service or its free credits.

This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.

1. Why this policy exists

JobMatch.AI acts close to real hiring decisions: it writes documents in your name, sends applications, and helps you in live conversations with employers. This policy sets out what that must never be used for. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. Be truthful

  • Don't use the Service to invent or inflate employers, job titles, dates, degrees, licences, certifications, security clearances, figures or achievements.
  • Don't present someone else's experience as yours.
  • Read every document before you send it, and correct anything that isn't true. The Service is designed not to invent facts, but you are responsible for what goes out in your name.

3. Live Interview Assist

  • Use it only where assistance is permitted by the employer, the interviewer and any assessment rules. Many assessments, coding tests and proctored exams prohibit outside help — don't use it there.
  • Don't use it, or any setting of it, to hide assistance or to evade proctoring, monitoring or detection tools.
  • Follow the law on transcribing conversations. In some places you must tell, or get the agreement of, everyone in a conversation before it is transcribed.
  • If you're asked whether you are using assistance, answer honestly.

4. Auto Apply

  • Use Auto-submit only where the employer and the job platform allow automated applications. Where they don't, use Prepare only and send applications yourself.
  • Apply only for roles you genuinely want and are eligible for. Don't use campaigns to flood employers with applications.
  • Don't try to make Auto Apply get past logins, CAPTCHAs, rate limits or other protections. It stops at them by design, and attempts to defeat that are a breach of this policy.

5. The browser extension

  • The extension fills forms; you review them and press the employer's submit button. Don't modify it to submit automatically.
  • Capture postings for your own job search. Don't use the extension to collect job boards' content at scale, and respect the terms of the sites you use it on.

6. Using the Service fairly

Don't:

  • scrape, crawl or copy the Service, or access it with automated tools other than our own;
  • overload it, get around rate limits, credits or other controls, or interfere with its security;
  • reverse-engineer it, except where the law allows despite this restriction;
  • probe or test its security without our written permission (to report a vulnerability, email admin@rcinc.app);
  • create multiple accounts to collect free credits, or share, sell or resell access;
  • upload malware or content designed to harm the Service or other people;
  • try to make the help assistant or any AI feature reveal its instructions or another person's data.

7. Content

  • Only upload material you have the right to use.
  • Don't upload other people's personal information without their permission.
  • Don't use the Service for anything unlawful, deceptive, harassing or discriminatory.

8. What happens if the rules are broken

Depending on how serious the breach is, we may warn you, remove content, restrict features (such as Auto-submit), suspend or close your account, or report unlawful activity to the authorities. Refunds on closure follow our Terms and Credits & Refund Policy.

9. Reporting misuse

If you see the Service being misused, tell us at admin@rcinc.app or through Talk to a person in the help chat.
