This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.

1. How credits work

Some features use prepaid credits. Credits are taken from your wallet when the work starts. Current prices:

  • Résumé optimisation (Detailed Match) — 1 credit
  • Résumé optimisation (Quick Match) — 0.5 credits
  • Cover letter — 0.5 credits
  • Live Interview answer — 0.15 credits
  • Live Interview brief — 1 credit
  • Interview Coach reply (a question, feedback or a model answer) — 0.05 credits
  • Reading a job link or description with AI — 0.05 credits
  • Refining a résumé in the Résumé bank — 0.1 credits
  • Job titles suggested from a résumé — 0.05 credits
  • Screen question analysis — 0.25 credits
  • Written application-answer batch — 0.25 credits
  • Offer negotiation brief — 0.25 credits
  • Recruiter research for one job — 0.05 credits
  • Recruiter outreach email draft — 0.1 credits

Auto Apply charges these prices for each posting it prepares, and batch optimisation for each job. Postings that Auto Apply finds closed, off-target or below your seniority floor are not charged. Other features — including job search, refining résumés, downloads and the Interview Coach — do not currently use credits. The Wallet page always shows current prices, and any change applies only to actions taken after it.

2. Buying credits

Credits are sold in top-ups, priced in USD:

  • $10 for 10 credits
  • $20 for 20 credits
  • $50 for 55 credits
  • $100 for 115 credits
  • $200 for 240 credits

Payment is taken through Stripe's hosted checkout. New accounts can start with the starter trial — 5 credits for $1, one per account. The minimum top-up is $20. Larger packs include the bonus credits shown beside them, and the displayed total is what is added.

3. What credits are

  • Credits are a prepaid way to pay for features of the Service. They are not money, have no cash value, and cannot be withdrawn, exchanged or transferred to another account, except as this policy or the law provides.
  • Credits don't expire while your account is open.
  • Free credits — the sign-up bonus, pack bonus credits and any credits we grant — have no cash value in any circumstance.

4. Automatic refunds for failed work

If a paid action fails — including when it runs out of time — the system refunds its credits to your wallet automatically, before telling you it failed. This covers résumé optimisations and cover letters, including those run in batch and by Auto Apply. Each charge can be refunded once, and the refund appears in your wallet history as "Refund: … failed".

Automatic refunds are made in credits, not money.

If you were charged for work that failed and no refund appears, contact us with the date and the wallet line and we will review it.

5. What is not refunded automatically

  • Work that completed, even if you don't like the result. You can edit it, regenerate it, or try a different strategy.
  • Applications Auto Apply prepared that then need you to finish them (for example because the employer requires an account). The preparation work was done.
  • Credits used on your instructions by a campaign you left running.

If you think a charge was a mistake, contact us — we'd rather look than have you out of pocket for something that went wrong on our side.

6. Refunds of unused purchased credits

You may ask for a refund to your original payment method of unused credits you paid for, within 14 days of the purchase. We review each request and may grant it in full, in part, or decline it — for example where most of a purchase has been used, or where refunds are being requested repeatedly. Bonus and free credits are never refunded as money, and are removed when the purchase they came with is refunded.

Approved refunds are made through Stripe to the card you paid with. How quickly the money appears depends on your bank.

OWNER TO CONFIRM: confirm the refund window and conditions above before publishing

7. Your consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the consumer law where you live, including Canadian provincial consumer protection laws.

EU and UK consumers have a right to cancel a purchase of digital services within 14 days. We honour cancellation requests for unused credits within 14 days of purchase. OWNER TO CONFIRM: confirm with counsel how the right of withdrawal applies once credits have been used, and whether checkout should ask for consent to immediate performance

8. Duplicate payments, mistakes and disputes

If you were charged twice or charged the wrong amount, contact us with the date, the amount and the last four digits of the card, and we will put it right. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank: a dispute can pause your account while it is investigated, and we can usually resolve problems faster directly.

9. When an account is closed

  • If you ask us to delete your account, unused credits are lost — so ask about any refund you're entitled to first.
  • If we close your account without cause, we refund your unused purchased credits.
  • If we close it because of a serious breach of our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy, unused credits are forfeited, except where the law says otherwise.

10. How to ask

Use Talk to a person in the help chat (choose Credits & billing), or email admin@rcinc.app from the address on your account. Tell us the purchase date and amount. The help assistant cannot approve refunds; a person reviews every request.
