Résumé Optimizer
How the Résumé Optimizer works
It reads the posting, maps your evidence to each requirement, rewrites, then audits and repairs the result.
Updated September 19, 2026
What you give it
On Optimize, paste your résumé or use Import from bank (refined résumés only), and paste the full job description — the requirements section is what it scores against. The résumé needs at least 120 characters and the posting at least 80.
What it does
- Reads the posting and pulls out what the employer is actually asking for.
- Builds an evidence ledger: for each requirement, it looks for proof in your résumé and quotes it. Each requirement is marked proven, equivalent, partial or absent. About evidence
- Rewrites your résumé for the posting, using only what the ledger found.
- Audits the result in code — parseability, source-traceable facts, readability, structure and term presence — and repairs concrete problems. Missing job terms alone do not trigger keyword insertion. How the audit works
The hiring company's name is never treated as a keyword to stuff in.
Time and cost
It usually takes two to three minutes. Keep the page open until it finishes. It costs 1 credit, and if it fails or times out the credit is refunded automatically. Automatic refunds
Then
Edit the result, choose a template, download it, and optionally generate a cover letter.
