Résumé Optimizer
Choosing a résumé template
Nine single-column templates, all built to be read cleanly by applicant tracking systems.
Updated September 19, 2026
After you've reviewed your rewrite, the Choose template step shows the templates. All of them are single-column with real text, because multi-column layouts, text boxes and graphics are what trip up applicant tracking systems.
The templates
- Premium Plain
- Plain Professional
- Corporate Serif
- Minimal
- Elegant Serif
- Executive
- Corporate Classic
- Technical Blue
- Modern Split
Changing template changes only the look; the words stay the same. Pick the one that suits your field; a conservative one is never a mistake.
Batch optimisation uses Premium Plain.
