Changing the site language, and light or dark mode

The two buttons at the top of every page, Language and Theme, are saved in this browser, so they stay as you left them on your next visit. Neither needs an account.

Language

Pick any of twelve languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Swedish, Finnish, Chinese (Simplified), Japanese or Arabic. The whole page changes: menus, buttons, headings, explanations, tips, dates and the help center. Arabic reads right to left.

• How it is translated. The text of our pages is translated by a model the first time anyone opens it in your language, then kept, so the next visit is instant. It is a machine translation and can contain mistakes. If a line reads oddly, the English is one click away: choose English again.
• What always stays as written. Anything a person wrote stays exactly as they wrote it: your résumé, your answers, job postings and company names. The legal documents (Terms, Privacy, Cookies and the rest) are in English only. The product names (JobMatch.AI, Auto Apply, Quick Match, Detailed Match) are not translated.
• A moment on a new page. A page nobody has opened in your language yet shows English for a moment, then switches when its translation arrives.
• Your documents are separate. The language your résumé and cover letter are written in is chosen on each optimisation. Résumés in another language

Theme

Choose Light, Dark, or Match my device, which follows your computer or phone and changes with it. Light is the default: dark mode is a choice, never something applied because your device happens to be dark. Résumé previews and downloaded files stay on white paper in either theme.

If it doesn't stick

The choices are kept in your browser's storage. If you browse in a private window or clear site data, they reset. The cookie list names exactly what is kept.
