Troubleshooting
An optimisation failed or timed out
Your credit was refunded. Check the inputs, retry, or use quick mode.
Updated September 22, 2026
First: a failed or timed-out optimisation is refunded automatically. The message says your credit wasn't spent, and the refund is in your wallet history.
Common causes and fixes
- "Your resume text is too short" — paste the whole résumé (at least 120 characters).
- "The job description is too short" — paste the full posting, including the requirements section.
- It took longer than the time we allow — press Retry in quick mode, or simply try again; a second run is usually faster.
- "You have reached the limit for this action" — there's a limit of 12 optimisations an hour. Wait the time shown.
- "Not enough credits" — top up.
Keep the page open
The result is delivered to the page that started it. Closing the tab or putting a phone to sleep can lose it.
