Live Interview Assist

Letting it hear the interviewer

In the browser, share the meeting tab with “Also share tab audio” ticked. Your microphone is heard separately.

Updated September 22, 2026

Live Interview Assist needs to hear the interviewer to know what was asked.

In the browser

  1. Join the meeting in a browser tab.
  2. In JobMatch, turn on listening. Your browser opens its share picker.
  3. Choose the tab with the meeting, and tick Also share tab audio.
  4. Press Share.

Only the audio is used; the video is dropped immediately.

Your microphone

Your microphone is heard separately and labelled as you. Only the interviewer's audio can trigger an answer. Your side is used to follow along as you read and to know what you've already said.

Desktop meeting apps

A meeting in the Zoom or Teams desktop app isn't a browser tab, so the browser can't hear it. Use JobMatch Desktop, or type or paste each question into the box at the bottom of the live screen.

Where the audio goes

Audio streams from your computer straight to our transcription provider. It never passes through our servers and is never stored by us. More
