Use the browser or Windows/Mac desktop app, and continue a saved interview across them.

In the browser
Works when your interview runs in a browser tab (Google Meet, or Zoom or Teams in the browser). When you start listening, share the meeting tab and tick Also share tab audio. How
JobMatch Desktop (Windows and Mac)
Use it when your interview is in a desktop meeting app. It hears your computer's audio directly — no tab to share — and shows the teleprompter in a see-through window that stays on top of the meeting. You can move, resize and fade it.
- Getting it: download the current installer from Install JobMatch. The app is not code-signed yet, so your operating system may ask you to confirm the first launch. Only open an installer from JobMatch.
- Connecting it: in the app, press Get a code. JobMatch opens in your normal browser at the Connect this device page; check the code matches and press Connect this device. Your password never goes into the app.
- Starting from the browser: finish preparing interview intelligence, then press Start in JobMatch Desktop. The browser saves a private checkpoint and asks your computer to open the installed app. If the app is not signed in, it opens browser sign-in and continues after you approve the device. If nothing opens, update or install the desktop app; Continue in this browser remains available.
- Moving an active interview: press Save & open desktop in the browser. It stops browser listening, saves the conversation and latest answer, then opens the desktop app. You can also find unfinished sessions under Continue a saved interview in the desktop setup screen. Turn on listening again after transfer; microphone and system-audio permissions cannot be transferred.
- What it can do: read the résumés you choose, use prepared intelligence, and continue live interview sessions. Generated answers and screen solves use your prepaid credits under the normal Live Interview pricing.
- Disconnecting: the same page lists connected devices with a Disconnect button.
Handy keys in the desktop app: Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + H hides the window instantly, Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + P switches between Share visible and Share hidden, and Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + A analyzes one screen frame.
Updates
The desktop app checks for a newer version on its own, shortly after it starts and every few hours. On Windows it downloads the update in the background and installs it when you quit, or at once if you press Restart now. It never does that in the middle of an interview: the button appears only outside the live screen. On Mac the app isn't code-signed, and macOS won't let an unsigned app replace itself, so it tells you a new version is available and sends you to the install page to download it.
Before and during the call
Run the sound check before the call, and try stage mode for reading the answer at a glance.
