"Your detail" prompts and lines held back

Where your record has no answer you get a prompt, not an invented fact — and lines that fail a truth check never reach the screen.

"Your detail" prompts

When part of a question has nothing in your record to support it — the actual sticking point, the exact result — the assistant writes a short prompt in an amber Your detail box instead of making something up. It's a reminder of what to say from memory, not a line to read aloud, and it's left out when you copy the answer.

Lines held back

Before a sentence is shown, code checks it against your record. A sentence is held back if it would:

  • contradict your current job, or give a date you never gave;
  • answer for you on pay, notice or availability;
  • describe an event, or name a person, your record doesn't hold;
  • use a figure you don't have;
  • present the job description as your own history;
  • claim something you said you haven't done.

You'll see "N lines held back" with the reason. If everything was held back, ask again or take that one yourself.

Answer labels

Each answer is labelled from these checks — for example Verified answer, Verified · add your detail, Closest relevant experience or Profile fact — not from the AI's opinion of itself.
