Live Interview Assist
Is it allowed to use Live Interview Assist?
Only where the employer and the interview allow assistance. It is your responsibility to check.
Updated September 22, 2026
It depends on the employer and the interview — and it's your responsibility to check.
- Use it only where assistance is permitted. Many employers, assessments and proctored tests forbid outside help. Where they do, don't use it.
- If you aren't sure, ask. A recruiter can tell you whether notes or tools are allowed.
- Be honest if asked. Don't deny using it.
- It is not built to hide. The desktop app's screen-privacy setting keeps the teleprompter out of your own screen share; it is not invisibility — a phone camera or some proctoring tools still see it. We won't help anyone evade proctoring or detection.
- Everything it suggests is yours to check. It only draws on your own record, and it holds back lines it can't support — but you are the one speaking, and you are responsible for what you say.
Using it in breach of an employer's rules can cost you the opportunity. Our Acceptable Use Policy sets out these rules in full.
