Interview audio: what is and isn’t kept
Audio streams straight to our transcription provider and is never stored by us. The questions and answers you saw are saved for your review.

Audio
When Live Interview Assist listens, audio streams directly from your computer to our transcription provider, AssemblyAI, which turns it into text in real time. The audio doesn't pass through our servers, and we never store it. The Interview Coach's Answer out loud works the same way.
What is saved
So you can review an interview afterwards, we save:
- the session details you entered (company, role, job description, your instructions);
- each question as it was heard, and the answer shown to you, including any lines that were held back and why.
What your own microphone picked up is not saved to your account; it's only used during the session.
Other people's voices
Transcribing the interviewer means processing what they say. Only use Live Interview Assist where that's permitted — read this first.
