Auto Apply

Your application inbox and verification codes

Portals that make you register send codes to your inbox address. Copy a code from the app or the extension; interview emails are forwarded to you.

Updated October 16, 2026

Some employers make you create an account before you can apply, and send a code or a link to confirm it. Workday, iCIMS and Taleo are the usual ones. Your application inbox is the email address that receives those messages, so you never have to hunt for them.

Where it is

On Auto Apply, find Application inbox. It shows your own address on JobMatch's application domain. Auto Apply registers on portals with this address, reads the confirmation email and finishes the sign-up. A code that arrives while you are watching the page shows up with a Copy button.

If the inbox says it isn't receiving mail yet, codes can't arrive. Tell the team through Talk to a person in the help center.

What lands there

  • Codes and links from portals, with the code ready to copy.
  • Mail a person wrote, such as an interview request or a question. It is also emailed to your own address, so you don't miss it.

Portal accounts

The accounts Auto Apply opens on portals are listed under Portal accounts. You can see each one and reveal its password. Passwords are stored sealed, and only the process that signs in reads them. If you already have an account on a portal, use Add one I already have.

In the extension

On an application form, the extension's Verification code card lists codes that reached your inbox in the last thirty minutes, each with a Copy button. Waiting for a code? Watch my inbox keeps checking while you wait. A code that doesn't match the site you are on is marked: check the sender before you use it. The extension never types a code in for you. If a form uses your own email address instead, the code goes there.
