Browser extension
How the extension connects to your account
Pairing is automatic when you open JobMatch signed in. The chip at the top right shows the state.
Updated September 30, 2026
With the extension installed, open JobMatch.AI in a tab while signed in. The app notices the extension and gives it its own sign-in token. There's no code to copy.
The chip at the top right
- Extension ✓ — connected.
- Connect now — installed but not paired yet. Press it to try again.
- Get extension, or no chip at all — the app can't see the extension in this browser.
About the token
The extension doesn't use your browser session. It holds its own token, stored inside the extension, which lasts 180 days. It only lets the extension capture jobs, prepare a job when you press Prepare it (which charges the credits the panel shows first), fetch the applications you've prepared and their files, and mark an application as sent. It can't top up, sign in as you or change your account.
If the extension says its token is no longer valid, open JobMatch.AI while signed in and press Connect now if the chip shows it.
Not connecting? See The extension isn't detected or won't connect.
