Résumé Bank & uploads
Adding a résumé to the Résumé Bank
Upload a PDF, Word (.docx) or text file, or paste your résumé. Files are read in your browser.
Updated September 19, 2026
How to add one
- Open the Résumé Bank and press Add Resume.
- Give it a name if you like. If you leave it blank, we use the file name.
- Choose a file, or paste the text into the box under "Or paste manually".
- Press Add Resume.
Which files work
- PDF — as long as it contains real text (you can select the words in a PDF viewer).
- Word (.docx).
- Plain text (.txt).
Older .doc files may not read correctly. If one fails, open it in Word or Google Docs and save it as .docx or PDF first.
A résumé needs at least 50 characters to be added, and at least 120 to be refined — in practice, paste the whole document.
Your file stays on your device
The Résumé Bank reads the file in your browser and saves only the text. The file itself is not uploaded.
