Cover letters
Editing and downloading your cover letter
Edit the body in place, then download it as PDF or Word. Regenerating writes a new letter.
Updated September 19, 2026
Editing
You can edit the body of the letter directly on the page before you download it. It opens with "Dear Hiring Manager," — if you know the person's name, change it in the downloaded Word file.
Downloading
Use PDF or Word under the letter. The file has a letterhead with your details, the date, the company, a "Re:" line with the job title, then the letter and your name. Files are named like First_Last_Role_Cover_Letter.pdf.
Regenerating
Regenerate writes a fresh letter and costs 0.5 credits again. If you only want small changes, editing is free.
