Interview Coach
How the Interview Coach scores your answers
A 0–100 closeness score with strengths, improvements, and a model answer that uses only your real history.
Updated September 22, 2026
After each answer you get a % Close score from 0 to 100, with feedback, strengths and improvements.
What the numbers mean
- 90–100 — an answer that would move you forward.
- 75–89 — solid.
- 60–74 — forgettable.
- 40–59 — weak.
- Below 40 — an answer that could end the interview.
Behavioural answers are judged on whether they cover the situation, the task, what you did and the result (STAR).
The Coach Answer
The model answer speaks as you, using only facts from your résumé — it never invents an employer, a number, a title or a project. Where your résumé doesn't have the material, it says so and gives you an outline with the gaps in [brackets] for you to fill with something true.
Treat scores as practice feedback, not a prediction of any real interviewer's decision.
